Dr. Joshua Dean, Dr. Steven Dean’s son, grew up in awe of how much his father loved his job as an obstetrician/gynecologist. This made his decision to choose a journey in medicine easy. Joshua graduated in the top 10% of his class at the University of Michigan and was awarded the Phi Beta Kappa award. He elected to pursue his medical studies at Wayne State University School of Medicine, where he graduated with outstanding distinction. As a resident at William Beaumont Hospital – Royal Oak, Josh acquired in depth training in both high-risk obstetrics and all aspects of gynecology. As a surgeon, Josh distinguished himself from his peers by receiving the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists’ award for Excellence in Minimally Invasive Surgery.
Dr. Joshua Dean is honored to have joined his father in practice at True Gynecology. In addition to the personalized, holistic, and traditional approaches to healthcare offered at True Gynecology Josh brings a lot to our practice. He offers individualized prenatal care and delivery to expecting parents. Josh provides both routine and high-risk obstetrical care. Josh provides indepth and advanced gynecologic care for all complaints. His major passions include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and management of abnormal uterine bleeding, chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, infertility, menopause, and holistic preventative care.
