Functional Medicine

individualized medical care

Functional medicine is the treatment of each patient through a comprehensive individualized approach by focusing on the root cause of disease. Rather than treat based on symptoms, the goal is to identify the causative events a person encounters that contribute to his/her adverse health. This can be done through an analysis of lifestyle choices, diet and toxin exposure in our environment. We provide a holistic approach to improve health and well-being.

Evidence-based medicine

Dr. Steven and Joshua Dean were both trained and received medical degrees from Wayne State University School of Medicine. There they learned medicine from one of the finest medical schools in our country. Time tested diagnosis and treatments of medical ailments is based on evidence-based research. The care you receive at True Gynecology is modeled after this method of teaching.

A comprehensive health study

This is dummy copy. It is not meant to be read. It has been placed here solely to demonstrate the look and feel of finished, typeset text. Only for show. He who searches for meaning here will be sorely disappointed. These words are here to provide the reader with a basic impression of how actual text will appear in its final presentation. Think of them merely as actors on a paper stage, in a performance devoid of content yet rich in form. That being the case, there is really no point in your continuing to read them. After all, you have many other things you should be doing.
